I am trying to figure out if they are to big, the thought process it to increase flight time by I am wondering if the vortexes are getting to close together.

Yes, 12 inch is way too big for a 550mm quad unless it's extraordinarily heavy in which case it should probably be on a bigger frame anyway. For that size frame and depending on the motor kv and battery in use, I'd be using 10 x 5, or again if it had a bit of extra weight to haul around an 11 inch at the most. My WKM quad is around 550mm, uses 925KV motors on 4S, and carries RCCarbon landing gear with a 2 axis GoPro mount and GoPro all on Graupner 10 x 5 props. Flight time is 8 to 9 minutes being conservative, I've flown it to almost 12 minjutes before the WKM voltage monitor kicked in and autolanded it.

As ken says way to big.. think the WKM like to have stuff spinning fast.
