NAB 2013

stock footage

I purchased this unit after it crashed, one of the arms was broken, one was cracked and a landing leg was broken. I also replaced an ESC that had failed due to a faulty contact to the power board. I fixed the arms and the leg with fiber fix. The leg was the first time I had tried fiber fix so it is slightly crooked, but the arm is straight.

That is what I assumed, when I saw the loose connection and the same ESC was fried.
It's been flying flawlessly since I repaired it.
thanks for looking

So, to be clear, it's a silent auction?
Great question.
since this is such an expensive uav, I really cant set an offer price. I wanted to see what the market said.
I am also against selling items that the pricing is a secret, so I thought it would acomplish both if I were to post the bids that I turn down, and also post any counter offers I make. That way the pricing is disclosed to anyone that is interested. And if and when I make a deal, I will mark it sold
thnx

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
Dave, You can let people post bids to this thread with the understanding that, to avoid snipers working to game whatever deadline you might set, the auction will run at least a few hours after the last bid and until you accept or reject any most-recent bid.

cool looking helicopter, had no idea you were going big like that!

Thanks Bart, That will work.
The bids are not flooding in, but anyone that wishes to make a bid for this Dodeca multirotor can do so in this thread, or if privacy is preferred, PM me and I will reflect the bid.
I will respond here to any bids, and if I get close to a selling price I will represent that fact here.
I don't think I will put a timer on accepting bids, I am not really looking to use one buyer against another.
When I get a price that makes sense, I will sell it, no last licks, no best and final.
Unlike ebay, I don't have to sell it to the highest bidder, I am looking for a buyer with a high level filming business that could use a drone that can fly around a 20lb camera.
thanks Bart for the support, and kudos on the new format!

Thanks Dave.

Another idea is to put a reference to your ad in your signature line and set the price on the high side then lower it by a fixed amount each day or every 2 to 3 days. people that are watching will have to jump at some point as the price comes down so as to not lose it to someone else. that works if you want to get the sale process moving and force it along a little bit.

I have not made any video with this copter, there is lots of stock footage of what has been filmed with these.
If you are interested in buying it, I would be happy to put my NEX 7 on it and making some clips.
My forte is more as a builder, and less as a cinematographer.
This copter is made to carry a big camera with a big lens, my dslr won't do it justice.
thanks for asking

Do you have an idea of the cost to buy OEM replacements for the arm and leg. I'm not implying your repairs aren't good, its just I'm not comfortable having a client or FAA inspector see them on such a large copter.

untouched video from the black armored drone, with my son on the gimbal controller, his first time.
Also there are 3 different, unbalanced prop sizes, 18, 17 and 15.5
