An ESC low voltage cutoff during MR flight is something that must obviously be avoided....
Since most ESCs do not allow the option to turn off the LVC, the next best solution is as follows:
1) Set the ESC LVC option to low, e.g., using the programmer jumper card
2) Instead of selecting LiXX as the battery type, select the NiXX battery type.
Item 2 enables you to get the low settings even lower since the individual cell voltages for NiMH batteries is already much lower than the 3.7 applicable to LiPo batteries.
