Insight into possible FAA regulations?

Just received this email today from the ACUAS organization. It had a link to an interesting article that may provide some insights into upcoming FAA regulations, I sure hope this is real and on target. It looks promising!

well, what do you guys think of this? Have there been any updates since the 'leak'?

We are a tiny engineering firm self-funding our sUAS R&D which we hope will feed into 'commercial' applications, via demonstrations to SME's at the very least. Is there already a subculture of folks who can't justify the $10k+ needed to assemble paperwork for today's 333 exemption, and thus are waiting for more reasonable steps such as this? If so, I'd like to join the club to learn and share our experiences likewise.
