How long should it take to charge a 10,200Mah LIPO battery?

Not strictly S800 related, but I'm using it on my S800.
How long should it take a 10,200Mah battery to charge?
It times out after 150 minutes and I have to start it again.

I am using a SKYRC e6650 on balanced charge, but it seems to take an awfully long time?
Should I just increase the time threshhold?

Thanks,
Louis

Not sure if your serious, have you looked up how to charge a lipo? at what rate and what sort of equipment would be required?

Your trying to charge 10 amp lipo with a 50 watt charger?

Are you charging at 1c (10.2 Amps) or lower? It will take longer depending on the charge rate (amps).

Check your packs maximum charge rate. If it's 5c you can charge it at 51 amps...but I very much doubt your charger is capable of that. I'm unfamiliar with that model charger, but I know that my cell pro 8 would not do that.

Do not charge a pack above its maximum charge C rating!

Maximum charge rate:
(10,200mah = 10.2A)

5c:
5 x your packs capacity in amps
10.2 x 5 = 51A

4c:
10.2 x 4 = 40.8A

3c:
10.2 x 3 = 30.6A

2c:
10.2 x 2 = 20.4A

1c:
10.2 x 1 = 10.2A

Charging at higher 'C' rating will reduce your packs cycle life

Thanks for your reply.. ok, I just read up on it, didn't realise wattage was so important..

I bought that charger originally for my F550 with 3,600Mah

Looks like I need to buy something with more like a 300 watt rating..

Cheers,
Louis
