How about that!

I bought 4 pairs of 9x5 Graupners recently, I reamed one of them out and was about to balance them when I noticed one of the tips is warped down about 1/4", it is about an inch worth of warp... Has anyone ever seen this happen? I have not used it, and I am not going to use it, but I can't imagine it is anything I did as these are fiberglass.

Possible factory defect?

I would believe that there is some kind of factory defects. You should be able to exchange it without any problem. First time I hear something like this about the venerable and expensive Graupner props. I must say that I fly with confidence when I fly with those props. Never broke up in the air, lots of thrust and motors run cooler compare to same specs props of other brand. I find APC very reliable and solid as well at the fraction of the price.

They was my first purchase of Graupners too, it is not putting me off as I am sure I can get an exchange or something... I will just use one of my spares until that time. Thought it was very weird and can only imagine something was laying on them during shipment.
