MultiWii / NAZE / SP Racing F3 HK Mega Pilot 2.7 GPS issues I think

I hope this is in the correct spot.
Today I test flew my scratch built quad.
Stabilze mode good.
Alt Hold mode good
Loiter mode the quad took off rolling to the right then pitching forward at an ever increasing speed.
Flick back to stab and recovered got it nearer to me and tried again did the same thing. So I tried RTL and same thing which leads me to think GPS problems.
Checked the log for the flight and GPS had 8-10 sats with a HDop 1.73-1.61 which is all good.
I have no idea why this had happened
My FC is the HK mega pilot 2.7
Does anyone have any clues to why this happened?

After more investergation it seems that I have not used the external compass but the internal one of the FC. If I remove the jumper for the internal compass then I can not get the compass to calibrate at all.
Any one got any ideas?
EDIT. Well I do now. I figured it out with some help from another forum. Seems I was using the wrong compass setting.
