I am a total newbie to both RC and multirotors. Have collected parts to attempt to build a tarot 650 for GoPro. Frame is built, motors and esc in place, now trying to figure out all of the electronics.

Hello Bill and welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!!

Snow is a great excuse to spend time in the shop. Have you been surfing through the site to review other projects and how people do things?

Usually the story is that the batteries power the ESC's and the ESC's send power to the flight control and receiver.

What electronics are you using on your build?

Hi Bartman, thanks for the welcome!
Yes I have been scouring the Internet and various forums to try and figure this out.
So far my build looks like this:

Taranis x9d+ transmitter
X8R receiver
Rxtimer arduflyer 2.6
CN06+ GPS and mag module
Sky walker Quattro 25a x 4 ESC
Rctimer power module
Rctimer 5010-360kv motors
17x5.5 cf props
Still working with e-calc to determine best battery solution

Will eventually hang a 3axis gimbal with gopro 4

Steep learning curve, but it's been fun.
Any input would be GREATLY appreciated!

Bill
