Thought I would post a quick introduction to myself.

I am new to this so please excuse really simple questions until I get to know what I am doing.

I have been a photographer for more years than I would like to say and I am always interested in new ways advance my
photography and I see quadcoptrers as my next step to accessing hard to get to or unusual images.

To start the ball rolling I am looking for my first quad and will probably start by using a small cameras such as a Gopro or similar
(don’t want to smash up an expensive SLR) I would also like to use something slightly heavier like a Fuji HS20.

Any advice would help.

Hi ian,

I started with a phantom, that I steadily upgraded with props motors etc, and a zennmuse gimbal, fpv kit etc, back in the summer, always have it with me in the van, I'd say its a good place to start if you haven't messed around with rc aircraft before, there are others on here far more experienced than me who will have other opinions though..

good luck

Many thanks Flubbs for reply and the info I have looked at the phantom and I was wondering if this would be the best place to start.
The other one I have bean looking at is the DJI Flamewheel F550 as I can mode this as I get more experienced but still doing my home work and will
make my mind up in the New year as I am in no rush.

Cheers
