Hi all,

Just thought i would take a moment to say hi and introduce myself. My name is Scott, I'm from Romford, UK and have been flying quads for around 3 months or so now. I currently own a TBS Discovery Pro, DJI Phantom 2 and a QAV250 mini quad and thankfully have a lot of land at the end of my garden which allows me plenty of opportunity to fly on a daily basis and take footage like this:-

Very smooth vid + nice place to fly. Think I can just make out the city on the horizon.

Just up the A12 from you on Mersea Island.

yeah, on a clear day you can see the Gherkin, Canary Wharf, London Eye etc etc.....looks even better when there is a nice sunset over it

I've not heard of Mersea Island...any nice places to fly around there?

We are out in the stix a bit but we can fly down the sea walls and the saltmarsh. Being an Island it does seem to be bloody windy all the time.

Three months, three copters hay, that is the trouble with this hobby, I always seem to want to expand the fleet.
