Hi, I'm Dave from Ohakune in the Central North Island of New Zealand. I've been into rc planes and Helis for many years but only recently discovered the many flight controllers out there. I'm expecting my Pixhawk and taranis to arrive soon and looking forward to getting into setting them up. I'm planning to put the Pixhawk into a nitro plane but will probably build a multi rotor soon.

Nitro plane - something like an AT40 trainer ?

You have some very nice spots to fly where you are, great scenery.

Hi Mat, I was originally going to use my Hangar 9 Pulse Xt model, but I've put it into my thunder tiger Soaring Star electric glider. I may yet end up getting foamy of some sort for test flying depending on how confident I feel with the Pixhawk setup.
