I recently did some lighting on an episode of "for dee ate ours" and the producer was complaining the he couldn't bring in a guy and his arial rig because the guy wasn't a licensed pilot and the network wouldn't use him. Any of you pro's getting this from corporate america?

Hmmmm.....I suspect this has little to nothing to do with regulation. My guess is that this was more about insurance coverage.
I have known insurers to come up with some terribly oddball prerequisites at times.
