I have a Flame Wheel 450 with Naza controller and DX6i transmitter. When I power on, the ESCs arm, but then the LED on the FW450 flashes red and nothing else happens.
What I've done:
1. I replaced what appeared to be a bad ESC. The FW450 worked for a short time after the repair, but then it quit.
2. The Assistant delivered an error message saying the transmitter was out of center range (or something like that). I sent the transmitter to Horizon Hobby, which replaced gimbals and the antenna.
3. I still got the error message, but error message stopped appearing after I reprogrammed and calibrated the transmitter. However, the red flashing LED continued, and the FW450 won't run.
4. The transmitter worked fine with a quadcopter at my local hobby store (which unfortunately knows nothing about DJI/Naza). So I assume the problem is with the Naza, other components on the FW450, or connections on the FW450, not the transmitter.
5. I found and fixed a broken solder on the new ESC.
6. I replaced the new ESC in case I had damaged it.
7. I pulled and reinstalled all wiring to ensure nothing was loose, upside down, or in the wrong place.
The ESCs still arm and the LED blinks green for a couple of seconds, but then it goes to blinking red. This happens whether the transmitter is turned on or not.
Does anyone have any ideas or troubleshooting tips? I would greatly appreciate any help.
