Hi all,
I just installed my compass on the x650.
I calibrated in the exterior, acording to instructions and everything seems to go right.
And I assinged chanel 6 of my transmitter to the Carefree function.
But I can't figure out which is the difference between the carefree mode and the headlock mode.
Could someone tell me which is the difference between the two modes?
Thanks everyone

well i might know part of the answer...carfree sets at motor start up, we tend to all ways put xaircraft down same way...hard to see what is does because i tend to keep "tail in" it gets switched on and pitch/roll is same...but flip switch for carefree when out of orentation and you see what way front is, if you allways start up the same...do a start up with x650 turned 90deg. and that will be front...stick up=forward...
headinglock...on wiki, have not found it yet, but i will if its there...but i think it again on motor start, will try to hold that heading...i`m sure motor start will be the heading...

if the info wrong i`ll edit or delete...

Thanks Boxhead, you are right. In carefree mode ther is no "front position", the front is determined the way we start the flight.
