Hi. I am going to build my first quad (actually my 1.5th quad!). I was suggested to use a MultiWii. I was given this link to buy it. It's on Ebay UK, the item location in Hongkong. But i found another MultiWii on Ebay US, the item location in China. Here : http://www.ebay.com/itm/MWC-MultiWi...Accessories&hash=item2317c6f602#ht_4242wt_923. Are the two one and the same? (the one on ebay US is cheaper in INR) I already have this HobbyKing 2.4GHz TX+RX. I guess it uses PWM. But I read on some threads that MultiWii works on PPM. Is this ture? Can't I use this Tx+Rx for MultiWii? Another doubt. How do I connect the MutliWii to my computer? Using this one? Is programming the MultiWii COMPULSORY?, or does it come pre-programmed? If yes, it comes programmed to what? - quadX or quad+ or a tri, or a what?

Has someone already answered this ?? If not, here goes: I'm *not* familiar with this board so I''ll deal with the general questions. MultiWii will recognize either single-port PPM (All channels on one pipe) or PWM (Each channel on it's own pipe) if it is set up to do so. MW-to-PC is generally done through USB if the card includes such a port, it can also be done through a TTL-level serial connection. Yes, even if the card comes preflashed w/MW, programming is neccesary for setting the options you have outlined and several others. No matter what the card came with, I would re-flash with the newest, V2.2. It's flight characteristics are radically superior to the earlier versions.
