Hi,

so i have had two crashes now with my hexa, no pilot error. one was a prop snapped and 2nd was either prop or motor failed.
but thats done now and irrelevent.

i was using 8inch stock props with 4s - 3200 - 30c lipos. getting about 5-6min.
i am using immersion rc ez osd and gopro gimbal weight is about 2.2kg or 5.3lbs

now after speaking with DJI rep I and fixng the f550 all up again i am using 10inch APC props.
3s - 4000 - 35c
same set up everything else.
i am now only getting 3-4min.

i think i need help setting up my voltage monitor.
1st and 2nd warnings.
i think it be too low so my red led is coming on.

i feel i should at the very least be getting the same 5-6min flight time but not dropping down to 3-4??

my gains are 220-220-220-180-90-90

i am so scared to fly this thing now its not even funny.....

Hexa Crazy
I am flying a similar set-up but a XA hexa frame...everything else DJI/ Graupner (see specs in my signature below).
I fly only 4S 5000Mah.
I get 8-9 minutes flight time with gimbal & Go Pro at 2500 grams total weight including battery.
Without the camera & gibal I was getting 12-13 minutes.
I have an audio alarm set for 14.5 V and land with 14.4 V. (3.625 V/ cell.)
I could easily push my batteries down to 3.3 V. and get longer flight time.

thanks for the imput.
so is (3.625 V/ cell.) the rule/normal?
i mean even on a 3s lipo?
or is this only for 4s - 5000?

im just saying so if i have a 3s - 4000 lipo i should use 10.88 as my total volts?
