Help needed first uav

I just purchased a used QAV 540 with everything ready to go except no tx or rx. I also purchased a Taranis X9D plus with the X8R receiver and now I am lost!!!!! The QAV has NAZA V2 and I have downloaded naza assistant as well as open tx. I also was able to download a model some one put online that they said was for a taranis with naza for their QAV 500, I put the model on my tx and besides the gimble H4 3D moving when I flip some switches nothing else seems to work. Did I say I was lost???????? PLEASE HELP

I wouldn't go with a pre installed program for a specific model if using a naza. If you have expo on it it may not allow the motors to arm. There are a ton of good taranis help videos on you tube. The only thing that model download probably helps with is gain settings. Start with the videos on the DJI site and youtube.
