Hello! I'm new here and I'm going to build a quad soon. I want to do acro with hit so here is my setup. I have some questions below that I need help with.

Hobbyking X525 frame 447g
Turnigy 2200 mah 3s 60c lipo 264g
4x Turnigy plush 40 amp esc 316g
Hobby king 2.1.5 FCC 40g
Hobby king 2.4ghz tx and rx Mode 2
Servo lead extensions 20g

This setup is about 1200 grams. I need help choosing a motor that lifts about 1200-1500 grams for acro. Any help to choose? Is my frame good for acro? Is smaller frames good for acro or is it thrust to weight ratio? Will my transmitter, receiver and flight controller let me do acro? Should the the thrust to weight ratio be? Thanks guys, I really need help with this build. I can't thank you enough.

I can't help with the motor choice, but I do know that the KK2.1.5 board is a good affordable flight controller and is capable of acrobatics. There is a lot of content on YouTube about it. Good luck!

Mr take no prisoners!
Actually the whole setup should be rethought if you want to fly acro.

A 450 size quad with 2212 900kv motors, 4S 30-35C packs 2600-3000mH, 9 inch props and Afro 30A ESC's is around where you should be aiming.

Have a look at what the guys used in the group build last year.
