I have a T380 Trojan copter too. It was a RTF. It was constantly a problem trying to get a decent flight out of it. So much that I went to the F450 Naza quad (no regrets, very solid). But I'm still sittin' here with $240 worth of copter thats so erratic I was afraid to fly it over 2 ft off the ground and then only over tall grass.
I finally removed all the factory wiring and re-soldered everything on the copter. Turns out those 11 year old kids in China aren't that good at soldering. Cold solder joints etc. It now works extremely well, I can trust it to fly at any height and its pretty stable.
