HELP Afro ESC

Guys, I have got something weird going on. Hope you can help me.

Setup:
Carbon 450 frame
Naza Lite FC
SunnySky 980kv motors
AFRO 30 amp ESC
4S

Flies nice and stable but has no power. It is like it is flying in 2S.

As I did not calibrate the AFRO ESC (lots of people say that you do not need to) I decided to calibrate them.
So I hooked up the ESC directly tot he throttle port of the Rx and did the ritual:

=>power up with full throttle=>you get the startup tune with a BEEP in the end=>throttle to minimum=>I get two beeps and then the tune BEEP-BEEP-BEEEEP=>power off

I have done that for the 4 ESC, all giving me the same tune. I was feeling like a happy bunny.
But then I tested (without the props to avoid a haircut): IT IS COMPLETELY UNCALIBRATED:
  • Sometimes it will not arm
  • If it arms only one motor turns and when you go about 75% throttle the other start to turn one by one, but not always the same sequence
  • When you arm again another motors turns first
Jeez, what have I done. I only wanted to calibrate them. I did as it says in the manual

Just a small update:
I have connected the ESC directly to the Rx bypassing the Naza FC: throttle is like it should be, very smooth for every motor works the same.
So I can conclude that there is nothing wrong with the ESC or Motors?

Maybe the Naza FC decided to conk out

I think I found the answer:
Funny that it worked before without calibrating the AFRO ESC.
Testing it today. I will let you guys know.

Done a successful flight yesterday. Weird.
I did not change anything in the programming. I thought the AFRO's were made for multirotors.
I will check the voltage cut-off. Thanks for the tip
