Hello all,

I just ordered my first quad, a 450 with DJI Naza + GPS etc, but won't probably be able to fly until the New Year (away at Christmas etc)
I am coming from RC Helio's but never got to the Nitro's/3D
I want to do FPV after learning to fly it by sight, so ordered the FatShark Dominator II combo.
How much flight time do you think I need before trying FPV and going 500m or more?
Should I get a simple OSD, for Battery figures at least?

Hope to post video's of my exploits up here soon (if I don't crash on first flight, LOL

Welcome Scott's man.
Glad to have you on board the gravy train.
Doing Fpv will be a breeze since you are coming from a heli back ground.
You may need to upgrade your video gear antenna to glover leaf for better reception.
