Hey there

Been flying RC for about 12 yrs now. Been reading alot about Hexacopters over the last few months and just purchased a DJI F550 from a guy. It has the standard 30 amp escs and the standard motors and the Naza controller. My plan is to use my current 4cell 4000 Mah batteries on it. I have 8 and 10 inch props with the stuff he sent. I have it calibrated over to my DX8 ... one question is ... for those 4 cell packs... I am thinking I should be using the 8 inch props ? Thanks for your input. Joe

Welcome Joe,

I am fairly new to the Multirotor world but I have a DJI F550 and would recommend only using the 4 cell packs on the 8inch props. I use the 3 cell 5000Mah with 10 inch graupner props. BTW I am in Columbus and love flying locally. If this weather breaks, I am hoping to fly over the Horseshoe soon..
