Go Navy, beat Army
I have to thank many of you for the posts that you have made that helped me with my first Hexacopter build. This is what i have so far:
DJI F550 kit
Gaui 540F frame
NAZA M Lite w/GPS
I really wanted the DJI kit due to the availability of parts, but i needed a folding frame for transportation. I was looking at the Tarot, but that frame was getting a little expensive. i can buy a whole frame kit for spare parts (that i hop i will not need) for under 70 bucks.
The only real issues i had were the ESC's. the Gaui controllers would fit in the arms and the DJI had to be mounted on the bottom. I then had to make a secondary bottom for mounting battery and camera.
the only real issue I had with the NAZA was calibrating the compass. i only have a 2 position switch on my DX6i and I had to switch between manual and GPS to enter the Cal mode.
thanks again for all the help.
