I am from Albany, Georgia (about 97 miles north of Tallahassee, Florida and 187 south of Atlanta, Georgia). I am a complete newbie to both the RC world and to quad and hexacopters. My wife gave me an AR Drone for my birthday a couple of months ago. Ever since I started flying it (and crashing too), you can say, I got bitten by the bug and just last week, I purchased a DJI F550 with GPS and a Spektrum DX8 with telemetry. After working out the bugs of the build and configuration challenges, I hope to be able to fly it soon.
