Hi, I have just registered to the site, I have been flying remote control planes and heli's for some years now, but drones have caught my eye.
I have purchased a DJI F550 with Nasa lite & GPS, I have been trying for over two weeks to register the software assistant so I can start setting up.
Sadly it will register in my name but the mode lights will not light up. my laptop can see the DJI connected but still nothing. I have tried contacting DJI customer support but to no avail.
Can anyone help me please?

Many Thanks
Andy

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
Hi Andy and welcome to MultiRotorForums.com! It sounds like you're having trouble getting the channels mapped to the functions in the NAZA. I haven't looked at the NAZA Assistant in a while but here are two things you can start with.

The switch on the radio that you want for mode control needs to be mapped to the channel that you want to use. You probably knew that already. Next you have to go int he NAZA Assistant and make sure that that channel is mapped to the function that you're trying to control. Once that's done, use sub-trim and end points in the radio to make the function's slider move and light up correctly in the assistant.

Let me know if that's enough to get you going in the right direction.

Hi Bart, and thanks for the welcome. Sadly it's not that simple, I kind of know what to do but the software is not functional. I followed the registration process and installed the software and driver as required. the email I received to activate the software only allowed me to log into the web page as a member. when I run the Assistant software it starts to load and then requires me to skip a stage, when I press skip the software loads, It has my email in the contact field but no serial number of the Naza and the lights at the bottom are not illuminated. in fact I have no functionality at all.

Regards Andy

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
i'm at the office right now, i'd have to look at mine when I get home later.

does DJI now require an email to get the assistant software? it's usually been available on their website.

Wow yes, I forgot the time difference, it's 16:00 here :)
No, you can just download the software and driver from the web, however it seems it will not work unless registered. I suppose that's why you are required to download and install the software whilst having the Naza plugged in, transmitter on. you then load the assistant software and then run it, as said it starts to load then goes to Skip. in the first instance you need to register, you enter email, password and so on, it then send's you a confirmation of email address message, from which I was expecting a link to verify account. I did receive an email with a link which I selected, it just took me the their website and said I was one step closer..... the end,
