Mikrokopter Hello advice needed

Hello to everyone on this MK forum.

I have spent too long waiting for Hoverfly to perfect their GPS system. I have jumped ship

Just bought a second hand MK quad with navi board and GPS.

Straight away what an improvement in GPS waypoints etc. compared to Hoverfly!!

I have seen several fully loaded Octo power boards for sale and considering converting quad to octo.

Also need to purchase the upgrade for control board to v 2.2

As I am new to MK any advice on things to do, or not do would be great.

hi dave welcome, before i went to hexa/octo i was still very happy, then when i built my first mk hexa i realize it still flies exactly the same, but the extra redundancy really kept me in my confidence zone, the thing i have to ask you is if you bought the red board esc's or the newer black that came with that setup. to me building my hexa with red boards made me realize how limited i was in motor selection and frame weight ratio, so i would def think about using the black 2.1 esc's
