Having gps calibration problems

I am having great problems getting the WKM to go into calibration mode.
No matter how fast or slow I move the 3 position switch it will not turn blue.....
Also do I need to have the 3 position switch set up for atti, atti gps and manual or can I have it set up for atti, atti gps and fail safe?
Thanks and I hope someone answers.
The last person to help was Airconrob when no else would.
THANKS AIRCONROB!!!

You need the switch setup in GPS atti, atti and manual or you won't be able to trigger the calibration.

I had the same problem with my DX8 trying to get the WKM into calibration mode, how I got it to work was to power on the DX8 first and put it into manual mode, then power on the quad and flick the switch between manual and GPS atti about 10 times. HTH.

Try going back in the assistant software, set you two or three position switch to enter manual, and one or both GPS, ATT-GPS. I am not sure but when I was trying get cute with my set up I was trying to set my controller up so I could trigger the Fail Safe or return home mode on my controller however at a time I need to calibrate it but could not.

It was not until I set it back up for normal mode (where I was able to have Man,att, and gps on the switch).

by the way stay away from mixes, that can really play trick on you.

I wish you could set up a return home option up on its own switch, and have the led send you a signal that it was on before takeoff, encase it got hit or forgotten about.

best of luck Jack

Thanks.
I hope this works...
Also I am using the futaba 10 CG and have my three position switch to go between atti gps, atti and manual using aux 1.
How do you set up a second two position switch to get into fail safe mode?
I appreciate the help.

I had the same problem using the only available switch left and was using the gear for ATTI and ATTI GPS on my DX8 and fiddling with the trims to get the pointer to go where it needed it to be.
THEN, I went into the setup and disabled the gear switch and but the 3 position F-Mode switch on the gear channel and now I can have all three modes. I did have to go into the subtrims and adjust to get the pointer to highlight the tab. I also had to redo the failsafe to turning off the TX would go into fail safe.
