I recently preordered the H3-3D $379. I am now concerned that I may need extra hardware to operate the gimbal. I am getting mixed information about what is included in the box. I bought the standard version (not the phantom). Is the GCU included in the package or will I need to purchase this separately?

Where did you even find a standard version? I keep finding DJI H3-3D Phantom 2 version and that one doesn't come with any adapters/brackets except the phantom 2 one with 4 screws...

Can't even install the damn thing on anything!

Never bought from them, i was told to go there to buy a standard version.
