H3-2D gopro hero 3+ with a lens cover: will it cause any issues?

I bought a few small gopro brand lens protectors. Do you see any issues using one with the H3-2D gimbal? On the bench, seems not to be a problem, but wanted to check if anyone had any undesirable experiences using one.

I had to carve away a little material from the lens protector, but sits nicely over the lens and is pretty lightweight.
