Thanks to everyone for giving me quite a bit of good reading! I'm just starting to dabble in multi's. My experience has been an on and off love affair with RC Heli's. After a 10 year hiatus, I got back into electric heli flying about a year ago. I always wanted to do aerial photography with the heli's but the challenge of flying smoothly with the heli was too much for me.

This week I picked up a DJI F550 that I'm putting together now. The Naza is ordered and should be here later this week. Once I get the hang of flying the hex LOS I'll add some gear and a gopro gimbal (Thinking Tarot here.) After that the FPV kit. Hoping this approach keeps me flying and gives me time to learn about FPV enough to make a good decision on which equipment to add.

I'm just outside Emmaus, PA and would love to get together and see some other rigs!

Cheers!

Hi Rich and welcome to the site. I guess you know the guys at Clubheli.com are right around the corner from you?

We're going to do a meet-up soon as our ranks in the area are growing. Good luck with the build and don't be a stranger!

Yep, I think I paid for a big chunk of Rick's kids Christmas presents this year :) I know I can get things cheaper via mail order, but I try to support the shop as much as I can.

What part of NJ are you in? (Or is the correct question "what exit?" :) )

Thanks for the warm welcome!

if you take Rt 78 East I'm just across the border, about ten minutes south of exit 11.
