Graupner versus APC Props

Hi All and Happy Holidays
I have a quick question on props. I'v been using Graupner 8x5 on my QAV400 and seem to work great. They are expensive and I am not the greatest pilot around.
so I have gone through a few , mostly just nicking them running into bushes and branches. I e-mailed GETFPV who built the 400 and asked if there was a cheaper way to go til I gain more experience. They sent me a few sets of APC composite props 8x4.5. The cost is substantially lower , I think around $3.75 compared to $10. My question is are they safe to use on the the 400? I don't think GETFPV would send something that was not up to the job . I always fly in GPS and AITT so never do any flips or put undue stress on quad.
Have not tried them yet. They look well made and are quite rigid almost as much as the Graupnes What can I expect in the way the 400 will handle with the ACPs over the Graupners? Also as of Dec 2013 Graupner's are getting hard to find . Sold out almost every where
Thanks Will

Have a look at the HQProp, they are well balance, price is great. We have a good selection of sizes as well. All of our customer tried it and switched to HQProp.
