Photronics just posted an interesting video in Hoverfly forum demonstrating the degree of mag interference which could affect magnetometers in GPS units. That led me to wonder; I can mount the GPS unit as far as possible from suspected mag sources but the cable is very long and I always seem to have to route it near some power wire or something that might prove problematic.
Does anybody know how susceptible the GPS cable is to magnetic interference?
