I'm a new member... not so expert.
I'm an university (engineering) researcher in Italy and I would use UAV for DEM production.
I have an X8 drone with WKM.

what is DEM Production?

With the WKM I think you're going to need an app to do photogrammetry and DJI has discontinued their Google based mission planner utility.

Our new advertiser, UcGS is just such a program and there's a free trial version available at their website.

Ok. Sorry. Maybe I have misspelled...

DEM is Digital Elevation Model. I work with Photoscan.
Now I have a problem, as I wrote yesterday here:
