Gone back to 5.8 rather than 5.12a F550 WKM

Not using POI or RTH switch at the moment and heard that 5.8 is very stable. So tried and yep seems very smooth. Never actually tried 5.8 as when purchased I upgraded straight away to I think 5.10. Flew in back garden so will try over local field later to how it does. Done basic gains 120,120,120,130 never changed these before either as always run 100% std... Anyone still running 5.8?

There are some benefits like poi and flick of a switch rth but then again turn the controller off and that one is sorted... I've just flown this again 7 min on a 3s 3300 8" std Dji and must admit she is flying so much better. I'm not going back until next release flight seems so much smoother and why change if not using functions.. BUT! Some people are getting along fine on 5.12 I could be just my settings and environment. Don't want to steer you away for something that could be better. I don't use POI so not moving up again for a while..

I was so looking forward to the gimbal upgrade that 5.12 was to offer, however I held off, and not unhappy with that decision. Though 5.12a seems to have helped the multitude of issues people were reporting with 5.12, I can't see upgrading when my Hexa is flying so nice on 5.10. I have around 50-60 flights on 5.10 now and thoroughly trust my system.

For me, 5.08 wasn't a good fit. It caused all kinds of issues with my Hexa. Toilet bowl, yaw, being the top of the list. %.10 cured them all and I couldn't be happier.

So, lesson learned, sometimes it's best to just wait awhile and see what transpires.

I think I went to 5.10 but don't get any issues with 5.8. No toilet bowl.. But I'm a little worried if there have been some issues with 5.8 what did 5.10 do? Where can I get the version?

Tried 5.06 and 5.08 but went back to 5.02 and it's best i've tried. Didn't even bother to try 5.12.

5.02! Wow.. So where would I get 5.02 from to try? Are the functions the same.. Would love to see all the update notes to see what they have corrected, added since the releases.
