Hey guys, just curious what your thoughts are.
If I turn my s800 frame on end (90 degrees), my Zenmuse is nowhere close to staying in any position I want (manual rotation) for panoramic rotation.
Obviously when the frame/gimbal is it's normal position there's really no stress placed on the PAN axis motors and it's free to rotate cleanly and I have zero issues with my Z15's performance. If my pan axis is jacked, it came that way from China but It seems to function perfectly normal so I'm not really worried about it.
My question is, considering that when we're flying AP our multis are never really at crazy steep attitudes, what is really the point in making sure that the PAN axis is properly "balanced"?
I've watched the Cinestar gimbal videos that show them balancing their pan axis while the gimbal is suspended vertically from a pole, I just don't understand the point or importance.
Can anyone offer me their pros and cons of this? I'm seriously considering changing lenses and tilt and roll re-balance don't seem that complicated.
Thanks
