Gentled

A few times I have had problems triggering the camera with my gentled, and every time it happens the camera/heli is pointing straight into the bright sun. Is this just coincidence or could direct sun interfere with the infra red?

sun absolutely interferes. When my shades are open at home and the sun shines on the tv, my remote will barely work. I have the same issue with my gentled. I need to extend the wires enough to tape it over the sensor. I think thats the only real way to do it.

Ah, that will explain it. Thanks! I was wondering why the tilt worked but the shutter didn't. I'll have to move it closer and make a shade for it.
