Gaui 500x FPV/OSD Set-up

Hi

Looking for ideas to secure these bits to the frame to keep everything balanced. Anyone have a similar setup that wouldn't mind offering a few images to show where and how you went about it. I suppose I could strap most of it to the arms, but I also like to keep things clean.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

This might help you to get some ideas:

There is also a "tuning part" avalible for the 500X: http://www.readymaderc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=76_79&products_id=568

Since the 500X is a real nice bird, it's only drawback is the limited space for mounting all your gear.....

I also made some "extentions" out of CFK (1,5 mm), glue them with CA-glue to the top-plate of the frame and secure them with the screws from the frame....I did it left and right, but photo shows only one side....just to give you the idea:

Thanks for the ideas.

Never thought of going that route. I guess I failed to see the bigger picture, and focused on what was directly in front of me. Adding to the frame would increase the surface area greatly, and would also ensure proper balance could be maintained.

Much appreciated. :)

It is a S500 landing gear camera gimbal mount combo. 2 axis tilt, no pan. I just leave the pivot lose so it floats when the quad shifts position. Seems to work well, but adding the power servos would be a bonus.
