Futaba Receiver power question

Hi everyone, I have just bought my first multi-copter, a DJI F550 which I will use with my Futaba 8FG and R2608 receiver. I am currently waiting to receive my Naza M v2 +GPS so build can commence. I should also mention that I live in Dubai so don't really have good access to mail order stuff as in Europe or the USA.

Viewing the Videos on YouTube showing various builds is great but I am curious where the rx gets its power from- I'm assuming its from the Naza and ESC's? Is this how most fliers connect power to the rx? Any help or advice would be gratefully received.

You are correct - the rx gets it's power from the Naza. Many flight-controllers do not have a dedicated power unit like the Naza so the power comes from the ESC's bec.
