Making room for a new build and gimbal. You could take the radians off and G-lock them - word on the street is there's a new BG module that will go with a single radian as a BG stabilizer. You can also convert the cinestar or keep for odd cams where you may need a larger gimbal.

Yes. Absolutely any flight controller. The gimbal control is totally separate from the flight control. Its a 3-axis gimbal controlled by a separate camera man with a separate radio. If you wanted to, you could also tie everything into one radio and control it all.
