Can anyone advise me on what the considerations are for how close the props can be to each other. ie... say you design to start with 11 and 12" props and avroto 2814's. Hex or X8. Maybe later you want to go bigger motors and 13, 14, or maybe 15" props. 1/2", 3/4", 1" or more advised between the props when they are spinning?

On a 300mm to 400mm arms, what are the pros and cons of square vs round on the arms when using carbon fiber...

Is there a market for used motors such as the avrotos 2814's if in good shape and/or light use?

it's a lot of trial and error. don't make the arms much longer than they have to be and give yourself a half inch to an inch at least between prop tips.

are you looking for used motors or trying to sell some?

Selling motors is for the future. I'm going to use Avroto's on this build hoping it will carry my camera's. I'm going to use 40 AMP esc's incase I want to upgrade to bigger motors later for a little more lift.

I was just asking if there is any demand for used motors assuming they are in good shape and somewhat popular model.

As to making the arms as short as possible, I'm starting with 11 or 12" props, but making sure I can use another 3" or so inches. If I go hex, that's a simple deal. if I go x8, then there is plenty of room...
