fpv range extender

Hi guys, I'm using iftron 500 for my skyjib and flysight monitor with built in receiver.. i don't get good video transmission while flying.. its good until it goes away or in height more than 100ft.. after that i don't get any video.. thats very embarrassing while flying with client..
i am using 5.8 Vitenna patch antenna on transmitter.
Is there any kind of range extender for better transmission??

Clover leaf, helical and patch antennas are what you should be considering and the patch antenna should be on the receiver not the transmitter. If you are still using the stick type antennas on your screen, that is where your problem lies. I can get good range with a 25mw using a clover leaf on the transmitter and a patch on the receiver.
