fpv noobie questions

Hi guys,

Been looking around at the fpv systems that are out there.
all the combo seem ok as you can upgrade tx/rx etc
I'm looking for a system to run on my F550. I was thinking 5.8 with fatshark googles.
with all the combos i see on RMRC are they just for fpv & not able to record the footage? is there an easy way to record the feed or do i need to add a gopro or something to be able to record.

Want a fairly basic system to start with, then when more comfortable will add a gopro

Any help would be appreciated.

yes, no recording on any basic system, You add a dvr to a normal receiver, not the built in fat shark one, but like uno, duo, etc. Those have dual outputs, dvr on one, goggles on the other

Does it matter which gopro you get? as in outdoor, surf, motorsport etc

naked is best....... the others are just different mounts..... hero2 is really good, hero hd is alright, hero3 white is hero hd, hero3 silver is hero2, hero black is the one we all want...... hero3 is a smaller case with different glass but for the most part, the comparison above is true

Thanks. yeah i want to get a 2nd hand hero 2 or hero hd to play with, then get the hero 3 black when it comes out.
A good christmas present idea for the missus i think
