FIRST TEST HOVER WITH F550....Just one problem....

Hi there,

I'm flying a DJI F550 with a NAZA lite and a DX8.

The problem with the first hover, is that the Aileron and Elevator controls
are swapped, both on the software.

There must be s simple fix for this, and I'm just not seeing it. Can someone help me, please?

Swapped? As in they move the wrong way? Reverse them in the NAZA Assistant software.

Swapped? As in the wrong stick movement is assigned to the motions?
You set them up on the DX8.
Go into Function List / System SetUp / Channel Assign / Rx Port Assignments.
1= Throttle
2= Aileron (Roll)
3= Elevator (Pitch)
4= Rudder (Yaw)

JoeBob, thanks for the reply, however in the FUNCTION LIST, there is no System Setup on my DX8, just Servo Setup which has no channel assign option.

Can you double check the menus, and hit me up again? I'd love to get this thing in the air tomorrow.

Ack!

I was quoting you menu options from my DX9. I was hoping that the DX8 would be similar enough for you work it out.

Here's the manual for your DX8:

On page 16 you'll see that they called the function you need 'Switch Select' instead of 'Channel Assign'.
