Hey All

Richie from Spokane area here. I have been working in multimedia creation since 1995 and have always had an interest or dream in using and building a UAV for video and photography. I have been researching this for a Long Time. Now is the time for me to get into to this. Even with all the research I have done there are questions I still have unanswered. I have been using a RC flight sim for a while and am pretty good with the planes, but not so good with helis.

So here is the plan I have sketched out in my brain so far.
For training getting the Blade mQX Quadcopter and Spectrum DX6i which I would also use with the next multi that I would build. What I would like to build is a smooth and stable hexrotor for the GoPro Hero3. From what I have seen the Naza-m seems to provide some of the smoothest flights for video. But hey that could just be marketing. What do you think of this plan? Also any recommendations on best place to buy from? I have no idea what frame, motors, batteries, and props to use.

Thanks for your help!
Richie
