EZUHF binding issue Help!

OK guys Im really hoping to have this guy ready to fly so I can maiden it and take it camping this Friday, would be able to get some good video. But im still having a problem linking my futaba 8FGS with the EZUHF and possibly binding. When I bind I get the 3 flashes but followed by pulses of light that are constant, not sure what that means. Also I plug my naza into the laptop and I don't see any of my controls registering from the radio. Should it be as simple as just plugging the ezuhf into the futaba port on the radio and then binding the receiver and tx? Ill admit the futaba menu system is overwhelming to me so I could really use some help from someone who knows this exact radio well. Do I have to somehow disable the stock 2.4ghz tx that's built into the futaba or is that automatic when I plug the ezuhf into the trainer port?
Thanks again!

I don't have a 8FGS, but a T14-SG and a T18-MZ...since they are all Futaba it doesn't really matter.

Firts thing (in case you have not done it yet) is to bind the Futaba Receiver to the the Transmitter....which receiver are you using ?

Next step is to just set up your NAZA in the Assistant Software like you would do without any EzUHF.

Next step is to download the Manual (if you don't have it) and really read it from beginning to end !!!
http://www.immersionrc.com/downloads/manuals/EzUHFManual_EN_v1.0.pdf

Download the latest Firmware for the EzUHF transmitter AND the EzUHF receiver:
http://www.immersionrc.com/product-details.php?fpv_product=6&fpv_product_name=EzUHF Long-Range RC TX
http://www.immersionrc.com/product-...oduct_name=EzUHF Long-Range RC RX - 8 CH Lite (this is for the 8-Chaneel lite receiver...other receivers you find on their web-page)

Download the Installer (Immersion Tools)
http://www.immersionrc.com/product-details.php?fpv_product=6&fpv_product_name=EzUHF Long-Range RC TX

This is a really helpful tool since the binding is done just by clicking a button in that software

Once you got everything downloaded and have red the manual, you should not have any problems to set up your stuff.

PS: Just in case if you are a beginner (nothing to be ashamed of) and are not familiar with all these procedures, I strongly recommend that you leave the EzUHF in your drawer and just fly only with your Futaba Receiver / Futaba Transmitter. This gives you a range of about 2~2.5 km....even at that distance, you cannot see your copter anymore.....additionally without a very good FPV-system and a antenna tracker this EzUHF will only get you into serious troubles.....don't want to sound like a teacher.

The Immersion guys have a dedicated support section here: http://fpvlab.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?22-ImmersionRC

Correct, do not transmit 2.4 from Radio when using your ezuhf. Quick tip. When turning on your radio, position throttle halfway and select "no" when 8fg asks if you want to transmit. Makes sense as you're now using 433 right. Don't worry I had to ask as well.

That last link above is where you wanna take this one ;)

(Could also try reinstalling naza assistant - my little field laptop w naza sees sticks, desk pc doesn't. Also get used to reloading immersion FW even if it says successful...try try try again, on that same note double check both TX / RX are some FW versions)

So is that the only way to make it not broadcast the 2.4ghz signal while your running the ezuhf?

In the Immersion tools, choose the 8CH transmitter and than go to the last tab.....:

Some time gone since I did it last time....but should also be described in the manual....

...the tip from SMP is golden...easiest way to cut out 2.4 GHz.

OK sounds good is there a better way to turn it off for good though in the settings so I don't have to worry about disabling it each time?

That would be the way if you don't need the Transmitter for anything else.....should be in your Transmitters manual.....
