Expo settings for smooth video

Hey folks.

I'm setting up a new hex specifically for aerial video/photo use, using a taranis with the superx. On my multiwii quad I would use the rates and expo in the FC software, but since the superx doesn't have this option I'm wondering if you guys have stumbled on any decent Tx expo settings that work for smoother control while filming. I know that there will have to be some trial and error, and different FC/Tx combos will work differently, but I'm looking for a good starting point.

Ive already toned down the yaw gain a bit so it isn't as "grabby," but I think the expo could help it be even smoother.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Well I use the taranis with a Naza system - and find that about 20 to 30% expo on Yaw greatly helps with smooth (accidental-yaw) free flight. For the other channels I use 20% expo with the exception of throttle. I prefer leaving that untouched.

Thanks so much McBroody.

I definitely don't have anything set up on throttle. I think it would mess with the superx liftoff even if I wanted it. But I was headed for starting with more extreme expo - so now I'll test it starting lower and work my way up.

Appreciate the help.
