ESC Power wire extension

Hey guys, so im doing a Tarot T810 build and am choosing to mount my esc under the motor mounts and extend the power wire to use the pdb that came with my frame. I've read everything and back again about adding caps or not. My impression is its more like insurance because everyone i've read about that extended the wires ~15" have had no problems. Having said that , this is where I am at http://i.imgur.com/qJtt6Gs.jpg

The motor wires are small and my bundle didn't come with extra wire to extend the motor wires (foxtechfpv bundle). I ordered 6 of these http://www.ebay.ca/itm/181105849065?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT and am wondering if I can get away with soldering it like in my picture. My worry is they don't specifically say low ESR and i've read some people saying to get those. Can anyone give me any advice here? This is the part that is holding me back from building :( Thanks

i can't seem to get an answer from various sites so i think im not going to use an extra capacitor and just wire it into the pdb. I have all my parts and don't really want to sit on this.

If you search around, you may find some info that @econfly posted about this. His take, IIRC, was that it showed very little difference with his test equipment - but the long term effects could not be determined on the bench obviously.

If you are going to add caps, I believe they should be as close to the esc as possible.

Thanks. I ordered caps but i am being told using 1 big one isnt good. Let alone it doesent say Low ESR. Thats kind of where I am sitting. I bought http://www.ebay.ca/itm/181105849065?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT these and im not sure if they would be okay. Can I use big caps and solder like this http://i.imgur.com/qJtt6Gs.jpg ? Can I actually solder a new cap onto the leads of the old or do i move down a few cm?

If someone can recommend good caps that will definitly work i'll buy them haha. I am really in a grey area here. Appreciate the time.

At the time I was doing it for a Tarot 680Pro. The space on the center plates was super tight, so I opted for the ESCs under the motors (the mounts are set up for this).

I got curious though, and continued my research. It seems the theories are all over the place. While I understand that it may effect longevity - from what I could gather, it should not adversely effect our rigs too terribly much.

At least that's what I tell myself :)

That's what I am telling myself too. This really makes me feel a lot better. I understand the theory behind it, but mine is used for ap of oil/gas leases, maybe flying once a week for actual work (+ any time i want to fly around). The odd 15 minutes a week I can't see being detrimental. That's what I'll keep saying until it falls haha.
