XAircraft ESC auto throttle shut down in signal lost situation

I've plan to install new type of esc:

Read every detail and found something about ESC auto throttle shut down in signal lost situation.
That remind me back into my accident/crash with Super X

Could it be esc shuting down my hexa in lost signal situation?

With my OCTO WKM, Im using same type of esc (http://www.foxtechfpv.com/dys-40a-opto-esc-v2simonk-firmware-p-1110.html).
Had several lost signals, octo always return home+landing safely

Depending on what type of radio you have you could set up failsafe there. The ESC's will never see the lost signal. I have mine setup so that the receiver goes to a just less than hover and auto level mode when it loses it's paired transmitter's signal.
