Entry level FPV racer?

I have had a Parrot Bebop since last Nov. Tons of fun. I recently got a Zeiss Cinemizer. That doubled the fun. So now I have the hots to try racing. The bebop has FPV but its a bit laggy, especially beyond about 60m. And while it can go about 30mph, tight turns are not so tight.

So a little internet searching and and I am not seeing any fully ready to fly racers. Some are advertised as RTF but have no camera or no transmitter/ receiver, etc. But I see lots of parts of everywhere.

So... Am I missing a complete system somewhere?

Is it better to build than buy?

If I build, are there kits available with complete instructions?

any suggestions for me?

You'll need a new Tx/Rx though.

Bart also started a build on this in the beginners lounge, check it out.

oh and welcome Bob, you should go introduce yourself in the New Members.

Mr take no prisoners!
Best way is to get a good quality radio and go from there, any RTF is likely to be a compromise.

For the quad racer any of the CF frames would be fine with DYS or Sunnysky motors, AFro 12A or RC Timer sn20A ESC's and a Naze32 Acro, add some 45C 1300 3S packs and fly.

Hi Bob, we did a quick and dirty build of the xBird 250 from iFlight, you can find it in the beginners' lounge.
Welcome to the site, are you already flying or jumping in with an FPV racer build?
