Earning my wings

Greeting all, I am Ralph and live in SE Kansas. I am new to quads and learning to fly safely and profeciantly. I have watched a lot of videos and thought this would be a good way to drag my grandson away from the blasted xbox. I got him a Hubsan X107c and a JJRC H20 for Christmas. For myself i got a JJRC H8D with plenty of spare parts for the inevitable crashes. Cant let him have all the fun. I figure to learn how to fly with these before I decide to upgrade to a Walkera 250R or perhaps something from DJI. Be patient with me, I may have some odd questions as time passes.

Hi Ralph and welcome to the forums. I think it's awesome that you are doing something with your grandson like that. I know my kids are always glued to the computer, but once they hear the rotors spinning they want to give it a try. Have fun with it!

welcome to MultiRotorForums.com Ralph! Don't be afraid to sign up your grandson and let him come by and ask questions as well. How old is he? Older than 13 and he's ok to sign up.
